Meet Nicole
creative director, lead planner and experience designer
My deep-rooted passion for event planning and design all began with curating elevated, intimate experiences. Whether at home or outside under the sun, I would always jump at the chance to host a meaningful gathering that would leave behind fond memories.
I combined a few of my greatest passions — design, the outdoors, and enjoying good company — and launched a bespoke picnic experience, Santa Barbara Picnic Co. While we gained features in PBS, Chalkboard Magazine, Brides, and more, we quickly grew from a team of one to an entire team of dedicated stylists. After being a part of so many life milestones and celebrations with Santa Barbara Picnic Co., I knew it was time to serve clients with a more elevated and detailed experience. That’s when I launched Nicole Leza Planning & Design to curate distinctive gatherings for one of the most exciting days of a couple’s life— their wedding day.
I pour my heart and soul into every project, co-creating with couples to create a wedding that truly reflects their personalities. It's my passion to help you bring to life the wedding of your wildest dreams and to guide you in curating an event that is authentically you. With a commitment to detail, I am here to make sure that every aspect of your special day exceeds your highest expectations.
We enjoy collaborating with our clients to provide a personal and attentive experience. To maintain this level of service, we limit the number of weddings we take on each year, considering factors such as scope and season. Our priority is to ensure couples have the best possible experience, so we only accept a limited number of projects annually.
